Mission
Help humanity on their goal to reduce overall emissions not just emission reduction. Open Inductions (OI) aims to aid commercial aviation industry (… and other industries) to reduce fuel consumption and offer our customers retrofittable hybrid electric engines. The innovations OI is working on would be a bridge to the electrifying future of aviation. We believe in improving on and innovating existing technologies as opposed to making one from scratch.
Why OI
The aviation industry has been hit hard by Covid. Along with this the emission regulation around the world has become harsher. Now is the time to shift gear; reduce emissions and improve efficiency. All of the aforementioned are promised by OI.
“Innovating the aviation industry with our retrofittable hybrid electric engines resulting in less fuel burnt, in hopes to achieve sustainable air travel, being able to carry 4+ billion people around the globe”
A Brief Introduction to OI’s latest Innovation
History
Open Inductions was founded in 2020 by Rizal Evans (CEO), Mohammad Salah Uddin, Bryan Cando and Albert Lee. The idea was inspired on making aircraft engines more efficient, adaptable to emerging technologies and fuel efficient. In 2020, Open Inductions obtained their provisional patent to secure the invention while in early 2021 the company filed an application to also protect the invention overseas.
Open Inductions engineering team redesigned the original induction motor so that our motor can be retrofitted to existing and emerging aircraft designs.
We believe our hybrid engine will pave the way for more economical air travel, longer direct flights and help humanity to reach their goal to reduce CO2 emissions.
